Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque is a unique floating mosque located in the Kampong Ayer water village. Built in 1987 and named after the current Crown Prince, its distinctive design makes it appear to float above the Brunei River. It is one of the few mosques in the world built over water. Accessible on foot via wooden boardwalks or by boat, it offers a picturesque sight especially at sunset. The mosque serves the residents of the water village.
