Al Mirani Fort is a 16th-century historic fortress located west of Muscat harbor, opposite Al Jalali Fort. Built by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Omanis. Strategically positioned on a rocky cliff providing stunning views of the harbor and guarding the western approach to the old city.
