Al Bidya Mosque
Al Bidya Mosque is the oldest mosque in the UAE, dating back to the 15th century (circa 1446 AD). The small building spans 53 square meters with four unique helical domes supported by a single central pillar. Built from stones and mud bricks coated in whitewashed plaster, it represents traditional Gulf architecture. The mosque continues to host daily prayers and welcomes non-Muslim visitors when appropriately dressed. It is on UNESCO's Tentative List.
