Admiral Fokin Street
Admiral Fokin Street is Vladivostok's main pedestrian thoroughfare, known as 'Vladivostok's Arbat'. Stretching just under one kilometer through the city center, it features cobblestone paths, 19th-century historic buildings, retro street lamps, and fountains renovated in 2011. The street is lined with cafes, restaurants, art galleries, and souvenir shops. From April to November, street musicians and performers bring the avenue to life. Previously known as Peking Street (named after the 1860 Treaty of Peking), it was renamed in 1964 after Admiral Vasily Fokin, commander of the Soviet Pacific Fleet. The perfect place to experience Vladivostok's local culture, people-watch, and enjoy outdoor dining in summer
