Aarhus Cathedral
Aarhus Cathedral is Denmark's longest church at 93 meters, a Gothic masterpiece dating from the 12th century. It features medieval frescoes and a beautifully carved Flemish altarpiece from 1479. The church tower reaches 96 meters making it a prominent landmark in the city skyline. Services are held Sundays at 10am and 5pm, and Wednesdays at noon. Free guided tours available for groups by arrangement.
