Yes! Mahart PassNave offers boat trips from Vigadó tér pier in Budapest (late April - early September). Boat departs 9am, arrives 10:30am. Beautiful views but slower and more expensive than train. Not available Mondays
Useful tips for visiting Szentendre
Visit on weekdays to avoid crowds. Weekends can be very busy especially in summer
Try kürtőskalács (chimney cake) — famous Hungarian sweet baked over hot coals. Available everywhere
Book Skanzen (Open Air Museum) tickets in advance in summer. Take bus from station or taxi (3 km from centre)
Bike path along Danube from Budapest (~25 km) is beautiful and flat. Can rent bike in Budapest and return by train
Town is very small — no map needed. Just wander and explore side streets away from crowds
