Book tickets online in advance - limited slots and timed entry system
Wear comfortable shoes and weatherproof clothing - the site is exposed and can be windy
English Heritage or National Trust members get free entry - but still need to book

Combine with Salisbury - beautiful cathedral and historic town nearby
