November to April is dry season with best weather. May to October is monsoon season with heavy rain but lower prices and fewer crowds. Peak season is December-March

2-3 days ideal. One day for beaches, one for climbing or tours, one for relaxing. Evening atmosphere is magical after day-trippers leave
Useful tips for visiting Railay Beach
Bring enough cash! ATMs on Railay are often empty. Withdraw in Ao Nang before taking the boat
Phra Nang is the best beach but crowded during day. Go early morning or after 4pm when day-trippers leave
Rock climbing from 1000 THB for half day. Equipment and excellent guides available on-site. No experience needed for beginner routes
Stay overnight! Atmosphere after sunset is completely different - quieter and more magical. Many visitors only do day trips
Restaurants in back streets much cheaper than beachfront. Look for places past the rock climbing shops
