Travel Tips
Useful tips for visiting Plitvice Lakes
Book tickets online in advance (especially May-September). Entry limited to prevent overcrowding. Morning slots (7-8 AM) are best.
Ticket prices vary by season: €10 low season, €23.5 shoulder, €40 peak (July-August). Two-day tickets available.
Wear sturdy waterproof shoes. Wooden boardwalks can be slippery when wet. Full park loop takes 4-6 hours.
Swimming is prohibited. Drones are banned. No food near the lakes. Pack snacks and eat at designated rest areas.
