Sindalah is currently the only open destination - book hotels well in advance. Luxury pricing throughout.
NEOM is a luxury destination - expect premium pricing for everything. Budget travelers should wait for more zones to open.
Best time to visit: March-May and October-November. Avoid extreme summer heat (June-August can reach 40°C).
Bring strong sunscreen - intense sun on Red Sea coast. Also pack light layers for air-conditioned interiors.
Diving and snorkeling excellent - Red Sea coral reefs among world's best. Book excursions through resort.
Photography may be restricted in some areas - follow guidelines. Construction zones are off-limits.
Respect Saudi dress code - modest clothing required in public areas. Beach and pool areas have relaxed rules.
