Anapa is better for small kids (sandy, shallow beaches). Gelendzhik is more modern, youthful, with pebble beaches and deeper water. Better for adults and teens.

Large park with cable car offering stunning bay views. Has zoo, dinosaur park, marine aquarium. Cable car ride is ~1500 RUB round trip.

Gelendzhik airport (GDZ) has flights from Moscow (2h). Alternative: fly to Krasnodar (KRR) and drive 2.5h or take bus (500₽).

June and September - warm sea, less crowded, better prices. July-August is peak: expensive, crowded, but warmest water.

12km embankment is LONGEST in Russia! Perfect for evening walks, lined with cafes and attractions.

Safari Park cable car offers STUNNING views of the bay. One of best attractions.

Beaches are mostly pebble, water deeper than Anapa. Better for swimming, less for small kids.

Water parks: Zolotaya Bukhta is one of largest in Russia. Dolphinarium also popular.

White Bride sculpture on embankment is city symbol - photo spot.

Peak season (July-August) VERY expensive and crowded. June or September much better.

Airport (GDZ) is small but has flights from Moscow. Alternative: fly to Krasnodar, drive 2.5h.
