Useful tips for visiting Liechtenstein

Get passport stamp at Liechtenstein Center (tourist office) for 3 CHF. Visit Postal Museum for famous collectible stamps. Walk up to Vaduz Castle viewpoint for best photos.

Swiss travel passes (Swiss Pass, Half Fare Card) valid on all Liechtenstein buses. Same currency (CHF), same prices as Switzerland. No border control - feels like extension of Switzerland.

Half day is enough for Vaduz. For skiing, Malbun resort is small but uncrowded alternative to Swiss mega-resorts. Summer hiking excellent in mountains.

NO trains or airport—use buses to Swiss/Austrian rail stations (Sargans, Buchs, Feldkirch). Tiny country (160km², 35,000 people). Annual pass CHF 520 (~$570). Modern buses every 15-30min. Swiss currency (CHF). German spoken.
