Vitosha Boulevard, locally known as Vitoshka, is Sofia main commercial and pedestrian street, stretching from St. Nedelya Square to the National Palace of Culture. Ranked as the world 22nd most expensive commercial street in 2007, it is often called Sofia Champs-Elysees. The boulevard features high-end fashion boutiques (Versace, Armani, Boss), international brands (Zara, H&M), numerous cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating, and historic Art Nouveau architecture. With the snow-capped Vitosha Mountain visible at the end, it offers a unique backdrop. The street is pedestrian-only between Alabin Street and Patriarch Evtimiy Boulevard.
